Hiermee kunnen handelaren met een relatief klein bedrag aan margin een grotere marktpositie innemen. Het gaat niet noodzakelijk om een geldlening, maar om een door de broker geboden blootstelling waarvoor slechts een deel van de positiewaarde als zekerheid wordt aangehouden. Een hefboom van 1:100 betekent bijvoorbeeld dat met \u20ac 1 aan eigen margin een positie met een waarde van \u20ac 100 kan worden ingenomen.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"types\">Soorten hefboomverhoudingen<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rationalfx.com\/nl\/forex-brokers\/\">Forex brokers<\/a> bieden verschillende hefboomverhoudingen aan, elk met een ander risico en marginvereiste. Bij een hefboom van 1:100 bedraagt de vereiste margin bijvoorbeeld 1% van de totale positiewaarde. Niet elke verhouding is beschikbaar voor iedere cli\u00ebnt of onder iedere vergunning.<\/p>\n<p>Handelaren moeten bij het beoordelen van hefboomverhoudingen rekening houden met de regels die op hun rekening van toepassing zijn.
