Handelaren gebruiken limietorders doorgaans wanneer zij een positie alleen tegen een specifieke prijs of beter willen openen. Zo kan een handelaar een limietorder plaatsen om een valutapaar te kopen wanneer de koers tot een bepaald steunniveau daalt. Zo kan een handelaar een kooplimietorder instellen rond een verwacht steunniveau.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Verkooplimietorder:<\/strong> Een verkooplimietorder is een opdracht om een financieel instrument tegen een vastgestelde prijs of hoger te verkopen. Handelaren gebruiken deze order vaak wanneer zij een shortpositie willen openen nadat de koers tot een bepaald niveau is gestegen. Zo kan een handelaar een verkooplimietorder instellen rond een verwacht weerstandsniveau.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Stoporder:<\/strong> Een stoporder is een opdracht die wordt geactiveerd wanneer de marktprijs een vooraf ingesteld niveau bereikt. Na activering wordt doorgaans een marktorder geplaatst, waardoor de uiteindelijke uitvoeringsprijs kan afwijken van de stopprijs. Stoporders worden onder meer gebruikt om een positie te openen nadat de koers een bepaald steun- of weerstandsniveau doorbreekt. MT5 ondersteunt koopstop- en verkoopstoporders:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"list mb-3\">\n<li><strong>Koopstoporder:<\/strong> Een koopstoporder is een opdracht om een financieel instrument te kopen wanneer de marktprijs stijgt tot een vastgesteld niveau. Handelaren gebruiken dit ordertype wanneer zij een longpositie willen openen nadat de markt opwaarts door een bepaald niveau beweegt. Zo kan een koopstoporder boven een verwacht weerstandsniveau worden geplaatst.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Verkoopstoporder:<\/strong> Een verkoopstoporder is een opdracht om een financieel instrument te verkopen wanneer de marktprijs daalt tot een vastgesteld niveau. Handelaren gebruiken dit ordertype wanneer zij een shortpositie willen openen nadat de markt neerwaarts door een bepaald niveau beweegt. Zo kan een verkoopstoporder onder een verwacht steunniveau worden geplaatst.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"important-note\">\n<p>Er is ook de stop-limietorder, een combinatie van een stoporder en een limietorder. Zodra de marktprijs het ingestelde stopniveau bereikt, wordt een limietorder geplaatst. Deze kan alleen tegen de opgegeven limietprijs of een gunstigere prijs worden uitgevoerd. Uitvoering is echter niet gegarandeerd wanneer de markt snel beweegt of onvoldoende liquiditeit beschikbaar is. Met dit ordertype kan een handelaar de maximaal te betalen aankoopprijs of de minimaal gewenste verkoopprijs begrenzen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>Andere beschikbare ordertypes op MT5<\/h3>\n<p>Forex-handelaren die het MT5-platform gebruiken, kunnen ook take-profit- en stop-lossorders instellen. Beide ordertypes zijn bedoeld om een positie te sluiten wanneer aan de bijbehorende prijsvoorwaarde is voldaan.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"list\">\n<li><strong>Take-profitorder:<\/strong> Een take-profitorder sluit een positie wanneer de marktprijs een vooraf ingesteld winstdoel bereikt.
